Searching for photos of specific people has never been easier. With the new AI Face Recognition in the FileFlow Image Bank, you can find exactly what you are looking for in seconds, whether it is one person or a group.
What is AI Face Recognition?
With AI face recognition in your FileFlow DAM, you will never have to endlessly search for photos of specific people again. The smart technology automatically recognizes faces in images and links them to names within the system. So you can see all photos of, for example, Siem or Dominique in seconds.
AI stands for Artificial Intelligence, or artificial intelligence in Dutch. It means that a system learns to recognize patterns, in this case faces in photos. The FileFlow DAM uses this technology to automatically see who is in an image and link it to people who already appear in your DAM.
Recognition happens entirely within your own environment and with secure, smart software. Has someone appeared in photos before? Then FileFlow automatically adds the correct name.
Is it a new face? Then you can easily add the name yourself.
Once a person has a name, you can search and filter for that person within the DAM. This way you immediately find all images in which Siem, Dominique, or someone else appears, from portraits to group photos and events.

Automatically tag people instead of manually
Give a face a name once. The FileFlow DAM will then automatically recognize this person in other images and adds the correct name immediately. This way your DAM stays up-to-date automatically without manual work.
Search by name
Select a person and immediately get an overview of all files where this person appears. No more manual scrolling, the right images are ready for you in seconds.
How to enable AI Face Recognition
The feature is available for all organizations with the Standard or Pro package, but is not enabled by default.
As an admin you can enable AI Face Recognition via:
- Account > Settings > Organization
- Check 'AI Face Recognition' there.
Note: it may take a few minutes for the feature to be fully active in your DAM.
Security and privacy
AI Face Recognition in FileFlow is developed with privacy as a priority.
The technology works exclusively within the image bank of your own organization.
All data, such as faces, names, and tags, remain within this secure environment and are not shared with third parties.
FileFlow uses the recognition data only to enable recognition and management within your own account, fully in line with our security and privacy guidelines.
